Modern Slavery Statement


Introduction
This statement has been published in accordance with the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps taken by Motor Repair Network
to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking happening within our business and supply chain.
This statement is made in accordance with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the Company's slavery and human trafficking statement.

Our business and supply chain
Motor Repair Network is wholly owned by AGL Ltd and provides UK vehicle repair services, and repair management services nationwide in the UK.
As a part of that process we utilise a network of repair providers within our supply chain, as well as hire providers and recovery agents.

Policy and Approach and controls
Holding persons in slavery or servitude, requiring persons to perform forced or compulsory labour, and the human trafficking of persons for exploitation, are crimes and violations of fundamental human rights.
Motor Repair Network has zero tolerance to any form of slavery or human trafficking and is committed to enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure neither is taking place in our business or in any of our supply chain.
Motor Repair Network are committed to adhering to the highest levels of ethical standards and behaviour and acting with integrity and transparency in all of our business relationships.
We expect our supply chain to deliver the same standards and to adhere to the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Employees are required to adhere to our;

• Conflicts of interest policyholders

We also have controls and processes in place in order to assist in delivering the requirements of this legislation.
• Pre-employment checking and recruitment procedures help us to limit risk and ensure that the recruitment process is fair.
• We have a consistent approach and structure to manage pay and reward for all staff.
• Use of labour monitoring
• All employees receive an induction into the business where our policies, procedures and expectations are outlined.
• We continue to develop our corporate social responsibilities working with local communities.

We recognise the need for us to ensure that our supply chain also adhere to the principles of legislation. We have a supplier selection criterion, to include financial and business checking, and an onboarding audit.
Repairers are contracted to adhere to relevant laws and legislation. We also complete ongoing audits of our supply chain.

Future improvements and development of our strategy
In conjunction with our group strategy we intend to complete the following;
• Further review of our policy library to ensure the issues of slavery and human trafficking are properly addressed and make changes and amendments as necessary
• Further review and develop our supplier assessment procedure for all new and existing suppliers to ensure that we minimise risks, and highlight any high risk suppliers.
• Review and develop existing training for all staff
